What do you need in a good chef knife set? There's a few key features. Here's our top three that we look for and designed this premium chef knife set to reflect.
1. Quality Of Materials. What good is a knife set if it looks beautiful and maybe even comes with a sharp blade, but is susceptible to corrosion? We use 9CR18MOV core steel protected with 2 layers of 316 stainless steel to provide a combination that will avoid rust and stand up to the toughest of environments.
2. Sharpness. This is an obvious one.After a high temperature heat treatment, the Hardness is at a stable 60±2HRC to ensure the knives will hold an edge well and can easily be resharpened. Each of the blades are hand-finished, sharpened twice using a traditional honing technique by skilled artisans, followed by a whetstone, and finished with polishing on a leather wheel.
3. Versatility. If you're really wanting to increase your skillset in the kitchen, that's going to require a wide range of capability. That means having a knife fit for the specific job at hand. Whether that's slicing, mincing, dicing, or chopping, our set has a knife specifically designed for the job.

STEP 2: Select the correct size: After determining your size, ensure that we have that size in stock in the style you are interested in purchasing.
STEP 3: Add the ring to your cart: Once you have selected the correct size, add the ring to your cart and proceed to checkout.
STEP 4: Complete your purchase: Once you have confirmed the correct size, complete your purchase by following the checkout process.
DISCRETION:Double-check your size(s) before completing your purchase. You may also want to compare it to other rings you currently wear to ensure accuracy.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY SIZE ON A PRE-ORDERED RING?
Once you have completed the preorder and select the "unsure of size and request ring sizer" option, you will receive a shipping notification for a ring sizer within 1-2 business days.
After you have received the sizer and now know the size for your ring, reach out to support@thevintagegentlemen.com and let us know so we can update your order for you.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I RESERVE A RING AND THE SIZE IS OUT OF STOCK?
While we do our best to keep all rings in our inventory in stock, there is typically a 1-2 month production time depending on the time of purchase.
We always have ring sizes in production and don't hesitate to reach out to support@thevintagegentlemen.com for an exact timeline for that size. If you have a pressing timeframe, please let us know and we can work on a resolution.
