Pappy & Co Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Fashioned Cocktail Mix
If you're familiar with fine bourbon, you know that Pappy Van Winkle is one of the most prestigious and rare bourbons out there. The bottles are not easy to come by, nor are the barrels. That's what makes this Old Fashioned Mix such an exclusive and unique product. It comes with a story that spans back over one to two decades from the time the original white oak barrels were fashioned by a cooper, charred, filled with Pappy bourbon and aged for year and years, and then finally dumped. Immediately upon the Pappy bourbon being dumped, the barrels are refilled with this mix to soak up all those delicious bourbon notes.
Your guests will be blown away when you start making them an Old Fashioned and you tell them that this mix has been aged in freshly dumped Pappy Van Winkle barrels. No other Old Fashioned mix on the market can make that claim! This is perfect for creating memorable experiences with guests that appreciate a fine cocktail. It's also an excellent gift for those whiskey lovers in your life. That's why most of our customers buy an extra bottle to share with a friend.
Pappy & Co has recreated this gentlemen's cocktail by using classic bittering agents like gentian root and cinchona bark along with burnt sugar, spices and a bit of orange peel. Aged in retired Pappy bourbon barrels to allow the flavors to come together and ramp up the intensity like no other Old Fashioned you've made.
This mix is extremely concentrated, so a little bit goes a long way. It's best with aged spirits. Stir 1 part No.1 + 4 parts rye or bourbon in a glass with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.
This old fashioned cocktail mix is the perfect gift for bourbon and old fashioned fans alike.
